Family, homelife and financial freedom are my passions. That is why I decided to get my Real Estate license and now enjoy helping educate my family, friends and clients with successfully navigating the often confusing but exciting and lucrative world of real estate.
I took this new career seriously and to understand it fully and contribute, I became a Director on the Oakville and Milton Real Estate Board. I continue to serve on several committees as I believe in continued education and in updating myself and my team to remain relevant giving us an exciting edge.
I am proud of my proven and distinct award winning approach. Using a unique interactive system with each of my clients, allows me to posses a special understanding of their specific needs and wants, even if unsure. I also pride myself on my sense of diplomacy, integrity and discretion as it has proudly earned me high praise among a wide variety of my peers and customers from diverse backgrounds in the United States and Internationally. Throughout the years, I developed a network of clients that has grown mainly from referrals and are based world-wide.
Prior to real estate, I worked in the financial industry. Starting with Goldman Sachs Canada, Institutional Sales, and moving to Investment Banking, M&A with Nesbitt Burns. Additional experience in Project Management with Siemens Building Technologies as well as special events and marketing and sales. I also worked at Walt Disney World as a Canadian Cultural Representative in the EPCOT Centre. My most rewarding position was as domestic engineer to my two amazing boys, 20 and 22.
Over the years, I am proud to have become a master at navigating complex transactions. My team and I enjoy privileged access to the world’s most qualified clients through the Engel & Völkers network of more than 38 countries and territories. I have personally represented many of my clients with exclusive access by utilizing private wealth advisors. My marketing and sales strategies combined with my team’s experience and knowledge, position us to advise local and international buyers, sellers, and developers with both global outreach and local real estate market expertise.
I am an over achiever, highly active, happy multi tasker who has a sincere love of people. My continued passion, dedication and quest for knowledge have blessed me with the myriad of experience shown in my acumen. These assets allow me to continue as a market leader.

As a partner and member of the Suzann Patterson Team, Marie brings seasoned sales experience, organizational skills and a passion for real estate to the team.
